San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught his three targets for 19 yards and added two rushes for 29 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers. The Niners passing attack wasn’t required much in a 51-13 blowout, but Samuel made his impact with a 20-yard touchdowns scamper in the third quarter. The rookie was touted as a dual threat coming into the season but had just eight rushing yards prior to Sunday. Samuel played a decent amount even with the arrival of Emmanuel Sanders  and Marquise Goodwin (personal) inactive, but his usage is too sporadic to trust as anything more than an upside WR5.
