Dee Gordon, Ryon Healy Nearing Rehab Assignments
6 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon (wrist) and third baseman Ryon Healy (back) are both recovering well and could start short minor league rehab assignments later this week. Gordon should return this role as the starting second baseman, but Healy's playing time will be in question with Kyle Seager at third and either Daniel Vogelbach or Edwin Encarnacion manning first base every day. Gordon was hitting .281 (45-for-160) with three homers, 19 RBI and 12 steals. He should be owned everywhere for his speed. Healy is hitting only .237 but does have seven home runs, 24 runs and 26 RBI on the year.
