Chase Elliott Could Be Overvalued At Daytona
5 years agoChase Elliott, driver of the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports NAPA Auto Parts Chevy Camaro, is entering his fifth full-time season in the Cup Series. Elliott qualified fourth last Sunday for the Daytona 500, meaning that he will line up on the outside of the front row for duel No. 2 on Thursday night. Elliott and crew chief Alan Gustafson have always been able to build a rocket for superspeedway races, and this year doesn't appear to be much different. However, their problem is finishing. Elliott hasn't finished a race at Daytona since July 2017. Elliott is the fourth-highest valued driver on DraftKings currently, but we caution anyone to start him. Elliott has never finished in the top 10 in eight tries at Daytona.
