David Montgomery Should See Plenty Of Week 3 Touches
5 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery should be line for even more touches than the 19 he saw in Week 2 when the team travels to take on Washington for MNF. Montgomery caught one pass and carried the ball 18 times for 62 yards, including his first NFL touchdown. The regression of quarterback Mitch Trubisky to begin the season has the Bears making the running game a focal point. Montgomery is clearly the most elusive, talented back on offense right now and it should just be a matter of time before he breaks off a huge run. The rookie will be in the RB2/3 conversation heading into Week 3.
