Davante Adams' Injury Not Serious
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams' (toe) injury isn't believed to be serious after he underwent an MRI exam on Friday, according to sources. The Packers will be cautious with Adams, but if he misses any time, it won't be much. Adams was believed to be suffering from turf toe after the Thursday night loss, but it looks like he won't be out long term. The 26-year-old caught a season-high 10 passes on 15 targets for 180 yards Thursday night. He's yet to find the end zone this year, but he's an elite WR1 and would be a must-start in a potential shootout in Week 5 against the Cowboys if he's active. Keep a close eye on his practice status next week.
