Edmonton Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse (undisclosed) will not suit up on Thursday night to face the Florida Panthers. Head coach Kris Knoblauch noted that the defenseman is viewed as "day-to-day." The 30-year-old was absent during Thursday's morning skate and hopes to return to the starting lineup on Saturday to face the Carolina Hurricanes. Over his previous eight contests, Nurse did not get on the scoresheet but added 28 hits and 18 blocked shots. Prior to this scoring slump, Nurse tallied five points (all helpers) over his last eight games while adding 14 hits and 11 blocks. With Nurse ruled out, fantasy managers should expect John Klingberg to rejoin the starting lineup. Evan Bouchard should continue to occupy the top pairing alongside Mattias Ekholm.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
