Mooney will team up with Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson on a team looking to revitalize its passing attack with newly added quarterback Kirk Cousins. Mooney was a 1,000-yard receiver in 2021 but was phased out of a struggling Bears offense the last two seasons. His potential for high volume and big-play ability make him an intriguing option for managers looking to add depth and upside to their receiving corps. Cousins has shown in previous years that he supplies valuable fantasy wide receivers, which could be an opportunity for the 26-year-old to rebirth his NFL career. Mooney should be viewed as a high-upside WR3/Flex option with the potential to emerge as a solid WR2, particularly in PPR formats. In 2024, Mooney should be targeted in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts slightly ahead of ADP, entering the radar around Round 10.
