Colorado Avalanche goaltender Darcy Kuemper (upper body) has recovered from the injury that forced him to exit in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Oilers. Head coach Jared Bednar did not reveal who the starter will be for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals, but it is great news that Kuemper was the backup in Game 4, while goaltender Pavel Francouz took care of business in the four-game series sweep. Kuemper also missed time in the first round with an eye injury, and in total the 32-year-old was able to appear in 10 playoff games with a record of 6-1-1, a 2.65 goals-against average and an .897 save percentage. The Avalanche are four wins away from their first Stanley Cup win since 2001, and the tandem of Kuemper and Francouz will need to carry their form from the previous rounds in order to reach the ultimate goal.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
