The Nashville Predators re-signed defenseman Dante Fabbro to a two-year, $4.8 million ($2.4 average annual value) contract on Thursday. The 23-year-old was previously a restricted free agent and was scheduled to have a salary arbitration hearing on August 20th. Playing in just his second full NHL season in 2020-2021, Fabbro posted 12 points (two goals, 10 assists), a minus-one rating, 59 shots and 57 blocks in 40 games. The former first-round draft pick has yet to unlock his offensive potential just yet but has the ability to evolve into a solid depth rearguard in most fantasy pools. He'll look to take on a bigger role in Nashville in 2021-2022 and could be worth monitoring as the season progresses.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
