5 months agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard D'Angelo Russell took advantage of Wednesday’s up-tempo match-up versus the New Orleans Pelicans, finishing with 22 points and a career-high-tying 13 assists. Make that the second time this season Russell has recorded a baker’s dozen in the assists column, also adding five rebounds, two steals and two made three-pointers to his stat line Wednesday. After missing his team’s previous outing due to rest, Russell was back in the starting five and seeing his highest minutes (35) total since November. His next contest comes against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, who play at one of the league’s slowest paces.--Jesse Borek - RotoBaller
