Damar Hamlin Addresses The Team Friday
2 years agoFor the first time since suffering a cardiac arrest on the field on Monday night, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin addressed the team via Facetime. His breathing tube is out, and he spent Friday morning speaking to various teammates on Facetime. Hamlin will now deliver a message to the entire team as he remains in the hospital. The 24-year-old "continues to progress remarkably in his recovery," according to a statement released by the Bills on Friday. It's excellent news for Hamlin, his family, friends, coaches and teammates after a scary scene against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. Hamlin's neurological function remains intact, which is another promising sign. The Bills-Bengals game was ruled a no-contest by the NFL on Thursday, but they will play this Sunday in the Week 18 regular season finale against the New England Patriots.
