Dalvin Cook Expected To Play In Week 1
1 year agoNew York Jets running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 1 on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 11. Neither Cook nor Breece Hall (knee) will be on a snap count, but head coach Robert Saleh said the team will be prudent with their usage. Cook is expected to be New York's primary running back early in the year with the Jets easing Hall back after last year's torn ACL, but the team also has Michael Carter and rookie Israel Abanikanda at their disposal. Against a strong Buffalo defense in the season opener, fantasy managers should consider both Cook and Hall to be low-upside RB3/flex options for their starting lineups until we get a better sense of how the team will utilize them together.
