Courtland Sutton Remains Team's Top Offensive Weapon
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton looked great in training camp and is looking to take a step forward from his 2019 Pro Bowl season as the team's top offensive threat. Sutton has already shown his ability on the deep ball, but he impressed with his connection with quarterback Drew Lock on intermediate routes in camp. The third-year receiver was Lock's go-to receiver, and he finished with 72 catches for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns. Rookies Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler will give Lock some other options, but Sutton remains the top dog and could easily improve on last year's numbers with a full season of Lock under center. Against the Titans on Monday night, Sutton will be in play as a WR2 for fantasy owners.
