Corey LaJoie has had an interesting history over the past three years at Daytona. The Spire Motorsports driver starts 24th on Sunday. However, there are grounds for hope. LaJoie has three top-ten finishes in his previous six starts on the 2.5-mile track. His overall average result was 13 which is third among all active NASCAR drivers. That includes an eighth in 2020 in a Ford then a ninth in a Chevy last year. LaJoie got a bit unlucky in the second race at Daytona. He was in the top ten when the driver crashed out on the final lap. LaJoie settled for 16th.
