Cooper Kupp Activated From COVID-19 List
4 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams activated wide receiver Cooper Kupp from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, putting him on track to play in the wild-card playoff game against the Seahawks on Saturday. Kupp tested positive for COVID-19 and sat out of the Week 17 win over the Cardinals. His return will be a big boost for LA's offense, which could be without quarterback Jared Goff (thumb) for the second straight game. The 27-year-old is one of Goff's favorite targets out of the slot, and he finished the 2020 regular season with 92 receptions (124 targets) for 974 yards and a season-low three touchdowns in 15 games. He had eight catches on nine targets for 66 yards in the Week 16 meeting against Seattle, but fantasy managers will want to temper expectations if John Wolford is forced into just his second NFL start this weekend.
