The Edmonton Oilers took a 4-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night, but the club’s trade-deadline acquisitions performed well while playing with Connor McDavid. Andreas Athanasiou scored a goal and added an assist. He had just 24 points in 46 games with the Red Wings but is one year removed from a season that saw him score 30 goals and post 54 points in 76 games. Tyler Ennis also had two points after scoring 33 points in 61 games with Ottawa. McDavid had three assists and now has six points in two games since returning from injury. Leon Draisaitl has found the back of the net for the third straight game and now sits at 99 points through 63 games. One of Anaheim’s trade acquisitions, Sammy Milano, scored two goals in his debut with the team. He had just five goals in 46 games with Columbus. Adam Henrique’s goal and assist gave him six points over the past two games.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
