Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid will be out of action for the next two to three weeks after being diagnosed with a left quadriceps injury on Tuesday. The generational talent sustained the injury in his team's 3-2 defeat of the Nashville Predators on Saturday after being hit by defenseman Dante Fabbro in the second period. While McDavid is set to miss a crucial stretch for fantasy owners gearing up for the playoffs, it does appear that the 23-year-old should be ready to roll once most fantasy playoffs begin. McDavid has posted 81 points (30 goals, 51 assists), 37 power-play points and 180 shots on goal in 55 games played in 2019-2020. Expect the Oilers to rely on forward Leon Draisaitl to shoulder the load while McDavid is out.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
