2 years agoThe Washington Commanders will interview Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy for their still-vacant offensive coordinator position on Thursday, according to a source. Bieniemy remains the team's top candidate. Washington also spoke with former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman for the same position on Tuesday. The last two NFL head-coaching gigs were filled on Monday, so Bieniemy will once again miss out on a head-coaching job, but a move to Washington would allow him to call his own plays as the leader of the Commanders offense. Bieniemy has been with the Chiefs since 2013 and was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2018. Since then, quarterback Patrick Mahomes has won two regular season MVPs and two Super Bowl MVPs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
