Cole Kmet Good To Go Against Arizona
3 years agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (groin) returned to a full practice on Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation into the Week 13 contest against the Arizona Cardinals. Kmet has an opportunity to be useful yet again this weekend as a low-end TE1 with receivers Allen Robinson II (hamstring) and Marquise Goodwin (foot, ribs) out once again. The 22-year-old second-year tight end had eight grabs on a season-high 11 targets for 65 yards with both Robinson and Goodwin inactive in the Thanksgiving win over the Detroit Lions last Thursday. Another high-volume day could be in store for Kmet, although the Cardinals defense is fresh coming off their bye, and they've allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to the tight end position in 2021.
