Cole Kmet Gets In A Limited Practice
3 years agoAfter not practicing on Wednesday, Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (groin) was able to practice on a limited basis on Thursday. Kmet isn't out of the woods just yet, but his return to practice on Thursday is a good sign for his availability on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. The 22-year-old had his best game of the season on Thanksgiving last Thursday by catching eight of a season-high 11 targets for 65 yards, but it also came with veteran quarterback Andy Dalton under center. Rookie Justin Fields (ribs) is expected to return this weekend, and while wideouts Allen Robinson II (hamstring) and Marquise Goodwin (foot, ribs) could both miss another game, the Cardinals defense is allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season. Kmet has low-end TE1 streaming appeal, but don't expect a repeat of Week 12 if he's active.
