Coby Mayo Gets Starting Nod On Sunday
3 months agoBaltimore Orioles third base prospect Coby Mayo rejoined the major league roster this weekend and will get the starting nod at the hot corner on Sunday afternoon. He will bat in the six-hole. Mayo got a brief stint in the major leagues earlier in August and held a disappointing .059/.200/.059 line across a seven-game stint. However, in Triple-A, the budding star posted an excellent .293/.369/.574 slash line with 22 home runs, 23 doubles, and 67 RBI across an 87-game sample size. Fantasy managers should expect the No.9 ranked prospect in baseball to continue to split time at the hot corner with Ramon Urias during the stretch run. DFS players should consider the power-hitting infielder this afternoon as he faces Colorado left-hander Ty Blach at the hitter-friendly Coors Field.
