Clayton Kershaw Says He "Feels Great"
1 year agoFree-agent left-hander Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) said he "feels great" five weeks removed from left-shoulder surgery and that he will be back next summer "at some point." Meanwhile, Kershaw is still deciding on where he will pitch in 2024 while on the open market. It's pretty much down to the Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers for the 35-year-old future Hall of Famer. Kershaw had a strong 2.46 ERA in 24 starts in his 16th season in the major leagues, but he's becoming less and less reliable because of his declining health as he enters what could be his final season in the big leagues. The 10-time All-Star can still be effective when he's on the mound, but he'll obviously be much less valuable in fantasy leagues in 2024 because of the fact that he's only going to pitch half a season at the most.
