CJ Abrams Tears Up Rookie Ball, Earns Promotion
CJ Abrams has been raking. In 156 rookie ball plate appearances, Abrams registered an absurd .401/.442/.662 slash with three homers and 14 steals. He’s already earned a quick promotion and should finish the season in Low-A. The 18-year-old is a bonafide speed demon with an advanced hit tool. With shortstop occupied by rising star Fernando Tatis Jr. for the foreseeable future, the long-range plan is to find a home for Abrams in center field or second base. With Abrams already slotted as the team’s No. 5 prospect, the dynasty outlook is bright.
