Chuba Hubbard Misses Wednesday's Practice
2 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard (ankle) was unable to practice on Wednesday after suffering an ankle injury in the Week 7 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hubbard's injury isn't believed to be serious, but his availability is in question for this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. The 23-year-old saw nine carries for 63 yards and a touchdown and also caught two passes for 10 yards in the first game without Christian McCaffrey. Meanwhile, D'Onta Foreman led the backfield with 15 carries for 118 yards while catching both of his targets for 27 yards. If Hubbard is unable to play on Sunday, Raheem Blackshear would back up Foreman. Assuming full health, Foreman and Hubbard will continue splitting the touches, leaving them both as low-upside RB3/flex options in fantasy.
