Christian Watson Doesn't Practice Wednesday
12 months agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) stretched with his helmet on but did not take part in individual drills during practice on Wednesday. It sounds like Watson is making some progress, but a DNP to start the week doesn't give fantasy managers a ton of hope that the 24-year-old will be able to play for the first time since straining his right hamstring late in the Week 13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Packers were also without rookie Jayden Reed (chest, toe) in the Week 16 win over the Carolina Panthers, which allowed for more targets for Romeo Doubs, rookie Dontayvion Wicks (chest) and rookie tight end Tucker Kraft. Watson will be an extremely volatile flex options for fantasy managers in Week 17 if he returns to practice later this week and plays on Sunday night versus the Minnesota Vikings.
