4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) had a second opinion on his injured shoulder and has a realistic chance to play in Week 11 against the Lions, according to sources. McCaffrey will not play this Sunday against the division-rival Buccaneers and will be monitored closely, but there's hope that it'll be just a one-week absence. It's great news for McCaffrey's fantasy managers after they waited six weeks for him to get injured again. Backup Mike Davis will once again step into a significant role with McCaffrey out this weekend as the team's featured lead back against Tampa. The Bucs haven't been the best matchup for running backs in 2020, but the volume that Davis will receive should give him RB1 upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
