5 months agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson averaged slightly above two yards per touch in Sunday's win over the Jaguars. Since returning from injury three weeks ago, he has recorded 18 total touches for 72 yards and zero end zone visits. This is not the Thompson we're used to seeing, but considering the uncanny string of quarterback injuries that have all but derailed Washington's season, it might be the Thompson we get for the rest of 2018. The Redskins' next opponent is a Titans team that looks considerably more intimidating now (on both sides of the ball) than when December began. Perhaps an early deficit allows Thompson to see some work in the passing game, but he has become a desperation flex play in PPR formats only as the season winds down.--Chris O'Reilly - RotoBaller
