Cedric Tillman 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Year 2 Wideout Could Pop If He Earns Starting Role
6 months agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman had an unremarkable rookie season, catching 21-of-44 targets for 224 yards and zero touchdowns. But early reports out of camp that he has overtaken Elijah Moore as the starting No. 3 receiver inspires hope. We barely saw what a healthy Deshaun Watson can do with this offense and the passing group may have to lead the way depending on Nick Chubb's recovery from a torn ACL. It's worth noting that the 6-foot-3 Tillman had a 56.2 PFF grade for run blocking while Moore had a poor 42.3 mark. And Moore had 104 targets over 17 games, some of which will slide to Tillman while Jerry Jeudy takes the No. 2 role. Drafters should learn early on whether Tillman is a constant on the field or simply the first in a committee rotation alongside Jeudy and Amari Cooper. With a low ADP of WR120 in half-PPR drafts and a WR103 ranking on RotoBaller, Tillman is worth a late dart if you need early depth.
