Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Casey DeSmith will record his 17th start of the season in Monday's Battle of Pennsylvania against the Flyers. He'll start off the night with an 11-5-0 record for the season. The 29-year-old has posted a 2.42 goals-against average with a .913 save percentage and two shutouts. DeSmith had a superb start to the campaign, but he struggled last month, posting a .888 save percentage. The Rochester, New Hampshire native has dropped three of his last five starts, giving up 3.8 goals per game. It's been a rocky road for him, but Pittsburgh gets Evgeni Malkin (lower body) back here and it's a matchup against a team that is tied for the worst defensive record in the league, so the offense should carry DeSmith to victory if he can't do it himself.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
