Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Casey DeSmith is confirmed as the starter for Wednesday's game versus the New York Rangers. He is coming off a one-goal victory in the Penguins most recent game on Sunday against the Dallas Stars. He has seen some good playing time alongside Tristan Jarry since Penguins top goalie Matt Murray is still out due to an injury. DeSmith has four wins in 11 games this season and is allowing under two goals per game this year. Murray is slated to come back somewhat soon and has been making strides in recovery, so this could be one of the final times DeSmith sees action.--Tom Vecchio - RotoBaller
