The Seattle Kraken chose to pass on goaltender Carey Price in Wednesday's expansion draft. The 33-year-old netminder's decision to volunteer to be exposed so his team could instead protect fellow goaltender Jake Allen was arguably one of the biggest topics of discussion over the past few days. Price had a mediocre regular season in 2020-2021 (12-7-5 record, 2.64 goals-against average, .901 save percentage) but is coming off an excellent playoffs (2.28 GAA, .924 SVP) in which he helped lead his team to the Stanley Cup Final. Ultimately, the Kraken chose to go with cheaper options in net and selected defenseman Cale Fleury from Montreal.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
