Can Cole Kmet Be A Difference-Maker Sunday?
4 years agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet will head into his first postseason game averaging six targets a game over his final five regular season games. The Bears have utilized the rookie in the bootleg passing game and the recent results have been positive. Kmet will go up against a Saints Defense that is allowing the 14th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. New Orleans has allowed nine touchdowns to opposing tight ends and fantasy managers can expect Kmet to be featured early on in the Bears offense. Whether his targets can be maintained throughout the game is a different story, as Chicago's offense seems to shift more towards veteran Jimmy Graham later in the game, especially in the red zone. Kmet will need a touchdown to justify his fantasy value heading into Wild Card Weekend.
