Mason Heintschel Will Miss Rest Of Season
Pitt quarterback Mason Heintschel will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in the team's thrilling OT win over Virginia Tech on Friday night. The sophomore quarterback was on pace to outperform his impressive freshman season before the injury. This season, Heintschel completed 66.2% of his passes for 1,304 yards, 14 touchdowns, and one interception. He had two incredible games in Week 1 and Week 4, throwing for seven and six touchdowns, respectively. Jared Curtis Out Against Georgia
Vanderbilt star quarterback Jared Curtis will not play against Georgia on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. Sama III is dealing with an upper-body injury and if he can't play, Darrion Dupree and Bryan Jackson II will likely see an uptick in usage as a result.
