Detroit Red Wings goaltender Cam Talbot led the way in their victory over the Florida Panthers on Sunday evening. In this contest, Talbot stopped 32 of the 33 shots he saw. The Panthers dominated the shot total, but Talbot was able to stand tall. His lone mistake came in the third period when Anton Lundell scored on a deflection. This outing has extended Talbot's recent strong stretch of performances. He has won each of his past two starts and holds a 3-1-1 record over his last five. In his last five outings, Talbot has posted a strong 1.72 GAA with a .945 save percentage. This is an excellent sign as he posted a high 4.11 GAA and an underwhelming .852 save percentage over his previous five games. He will look to stay hot on Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens.--Andy Smith
