2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers will not practice with the team this week, according to head coach Sean McVay. Akers has fallen out of favor with the Rams' coaching staff, and the team continues to try and trade him before the Nov. 1 deadline next Tuesday. The 23-year-old will most likely be a healthy scratch yet again in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers if he's still with the team by then. Darrell Henderson Jr. should continue to work as LA's lead back. Akers can probably be dropped in 12-team leagues at this point, and you're only stashing in him in deeper leagues if you're hoping he'll be traded to another team and see a good amount of playing time. But if the Rams can't find any takers, he'll continue to languish in fantasy purgatory in Los Angeles.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
