Calvin Austin III Won't Play In 2022
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Calvin Austin III (foot) will remain on Injured Reserve for the rest of the year after the 21-day window to activate him expired. Austin was placed on Injured Reserve at the start of the year after he suffered a foot injury in training camp. He returned to practice on Oct. 5, but he won't be able to return at all in his rookie season. The fourth-round pick out of the University of Memphis didn't see any action in the preseason, but it will be interesting to see how he develops next year alongside another impressive rookie in George Pickens. Austin is worth stashing in dynasty/keeper leagues only.
