Byron Buxton Returns to Twins Lineup
Byron Buxton (elbow) is back in center field and hitting leadoff for the Twins for their contest on Tuesday in Cincinnati against the Reds and left-hander Andrew Abbott. Buxton was hit by a pitch on his left elbow on Saturday against the Houston Astros and was scratched from the series finale on Sunday. However, the 31-year-old is feeling better after an off day on Monday and will return for Tuesday's series opener at Great American Ballpark. Fantasy managers will want to get Buxton back into their lineups this week. He is hitting .306 (11-for-36) in 11 games this month with a homer, three doubles, 11 RBI, three steals and three runs scored. Buxton has never faced Abbott in his career, but he's gone 11-for-36 (.306) with two of his 11 home runs on the year against left-handed hurlers.
