Bubba Wallace is not a very good road course racer. Over 25 career starts on this track type in the Cup Series, Wallace has an average result of 24.3 with just two top-10 finishes and a best finish of 5th at the Indianapolis Road Course last season. This weekend, Bubba is fighting for his Playoff life, as he comes into the final race in the Round of 12 nine points below the cut line. Bubba has to like his chances a bit more after Saturday, though, because the No. 23 Toyota was the fastest car in practice and then Wallace went out and qualified on the second row (in 4th-place). Bubba's other top-10 finish on a road course came here at the Charlotte Roval last season, so his chances of remaining in the Playoffs into the Round of 8 may not be as dire as many think.--Jordan McAbee
