Bubba Wallace and the 23XI Racing team have high hopes for Sunday's race at the Daytona 500. Wallace can point to past success on the track including a near-win in 2018 (second place). The No. 23 car has fared well at Daytona too. He was in the top ten before a wreck in 2021 on the next to last lap. In the summer race, Wallace finished second again on the 2.5-mile track. With teammate Kurt Busch behind him in 17th on Sunday, Wallace has an ally and a guiding force. The 23XI car got faster and faster on super speedways as the season went on last year and had some top-five late speed intervals. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
