Brock Bowers Still Not Practicing
Brock Bowers (knee) sat out of another practice on Friday, making it likely that he will miss his second straight game when the Raiders host the Titans on Sunday. Bowers injured his left knee in the season opener against the Patriots, and while he played through the next three games with what has been diagnosed as an injury to his PCL and bone bruise, he was not his usual explosive self. The belief is that playing through such an injury could expose Bowers to further damage, and he was held out of the Raiders' Week 5 loss to the Colts. Third-year tight end Michael Mayer (concussion) also missed Week 5 but has since cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play on Sunday. With the Titans struggling to defend against the tight end position, Mayer is in play for fantasy managers without one of the obvious weekly starts.
