Brock Bowers Impresses With Nine Catch 98-Yard Performance
3 months agoLas Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers built on his solid Week 1 performance with a standout game against the Ravens, with nine catches for 98 yards (18.8 PPR fantasy points) in Sunday's 26-23 upset win over Baltimore. He leads all tight ends in yardage after Week 2, a testament to his impressive efforts thus far. Raiders QB Gardner Minshew II looked Bowers' way early and often, and he was crucial to converting key third downs. Bowers caught all of his targets, bringing his season total to 15 catches for 156 yards on 17 targets. Minshew and Bowers have already hit their stride, and that should continue in Week 3 when the Raiders face the bottom-tier Carolina Panthers in Week 3.
