Brice Turang 2025 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Expect Stolen Bases, Fewer Counting Stats
Brice Turang became a fantasy contributor in 2024 as a starting player for the Milwaukee Brewers. The versatile Turang won a Gold Glove in 2024, hitting .254 with seven home runs, 57 RBI, 72 runs scored, and 50 stolen bases. Only two players stole more bases: Elly De La Cruz (67) and Shohei Ohtani (59). Turang is an excellent example of a guy who is better at real-life baseball than in the fantasy game. He is not one for much power; his best asset is speed in abundance paired with outstanding defense. Turang will likely continue to man second base this season, so he should be in line for plentiful at-bats in 2025. However, Turang struggles against left-handed pitching, as evidenced by his .237 batting average and the fact that there will be no home runs against them in 2024. Turang seems best served as your middle infielder rather than as a starter in most fantasy leagues and seems destined to hit lower in the order this year with the continued ascendence of Jackson Chourio and the return to health of Christian Yelich.
