Baker Mayfield Back at Practice on Tuesday
Baker Mayfield (hand) is back at training camp practice on Tuesday after missing two days last week with a hand contusion that he suffered when he hit a teammate's helmet on a follow-through. Mayfield's injury was never considered serious and he'll be ready to go when the regular season kicks off in early September. The 30-year-old former first overall pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2018 out of Oklahoma has been a Pro Bowler each of the last two seasons in Tampa as the starter, but he'll have a new offensive coordinator yet again in 2025. He threw for a career-high 4,500 passing yards and 41 touchdowns last year while also leading the league with 16 interceptions. The Bucs should continue to be a pass-happy offense, and Mayfield has lots of weapons. For the expected volume alone, Mayfield has low-end QB1 value in fantasy.
