2 years agoWashington Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) is missing from practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. The Commanders also put Antonio Gibson (foot, knee) on Injured Reserve on Thursday, so the team would be left with Jonathan Williams and Jaret Patterson in their backfield in Week 18 against the Dallas Cowboys if Robinson isn't healthy enough to play. Washington is already eliminated from postseason contention, so even if Robinson practices on Friday and is cleared to play Sunday, there's a very real possibility that he's limited this weekend in the final game of the 2022 season.
