Brett Rypien Does Little In Relief Of Russell Wilson
2 years agoDenver Broncos backup quarterback Brett Rypien was forced into action in the fourth quarter of the team's 34-28 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday when Russell Wilson suffered a concussion. Rypien had a chance to lead the Broncos to a late win after an interception of Patrick Mahomes, but he fell short. The 26-year-old finished 4-for-8 for just 16 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also fumbled a snap but was fortunate enough to recover it. There's a chance that Wilson isn't cleared to play in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals, which would give Rypien his second start of the season. If that scenario plays out, fantasy managers would need to downgrade all of Denver's offensive skill players in fantasy.
