Brent Honeywell To Throw First Spring Bullpen
5 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitching prospect Brent Honeywell (elbow) will throw his first spring bullpen on Friday. Honeywell, the team's No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has missed the last two full seasons due to elbow issues. He had Tommy John surgery in 2018 and fractured his elbow last year. The 24-year-old right-hander might've already been a fixture in the team's rotation if not for his injuries, but the Rays will surely slow play him going forward. You can't expect much from him in 2020, but Honeywell's future could still be bright. He's strictly a stash and hold in dynasty formats for this season.
