Brendan Rodgers Still Out Thursday
2 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) remains out of the starting lineup on Thursday against the San Francisco Giants. Rodgers is dealing with a hamstring injury and was last in the lineup on Sunday. There's a chance he'll be back in the lineup this weekend against the San Diego Padres, though, since his MRI results were encouraging. With Rodgers out another game, Ryan McMahon will get another start at second base and bat leadoff against Giants right-hander John Brebbia on Thursday. McMahon has some DFS sleeper appeal once again despite going 0-for-4 in the loss to the Giants on Wednesday. The 27-year-old has 17 home runs and 63 RBI in 487 at-bats on the season.
