Braves Sign Eddie Rosario, Option Jarred Kelenic To Triple-A Gwinnett
Per the team, the Atlanta Braves have optioned outfielder Jarred Kelenic to the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers and signed outfielder Eddie Rosario to a major-league contract in a corresponding move. Kelenic, a former first-round pick, hasn't gotten it going at the big-league level, and he's started 2025 incredibly poorly. Despite a hit in four of his last six appearances, the 25-year-old is slashing a disastrous .167/.231/.300 over 60 at-bats (ten hits). Rosario signed a minor-league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers a few months back and went 1-for-4 in his only two appearances with LA roughly ten days ago. He projects to platoon for Atlanta in the outfield for now.
