8/15:New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo was one of the lone bright spots on offense in a loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday. Nimmo went 2-for-3 with a a triple, a walk and two runs scored. That is now two straight games in which Nimmo has collected two hits and two runs. The 25-year-old has displayed solid plate discipline (51 walks) for the Mets this season and it is clear that he will be a big part of the future in New York. If he can cut down on the strikeouts (118 in 337 at-bats), he could be a force at the top of the batting order for years to come.--Adam Young - RotoBaller
