Brandon Crawford Is More Useful In Real Life Than 2018 Fantasy Leagues
7 years agoBrandon Crawford is a solid offensive contributor but is not the best fantasy player. Crawford struggled last year as his walks went down as well as his .OBP and batting average in 2016. The shortstop will be in a better lineup this year with the additions of Evan Longoria and Andrew McCutchen, but he is still unlikely to make a significant impact for fantasy owners. Because he plays the shortstop position, Crawford offers some value as a player who can hit around .260 with 10-15 home runs, but aside from NL-only leagues or leagues that value defensive stats, Crawford can safely be avoided in 2018 drafts.
